The stars above don’t do justice to the quality of hospitality that I experienced along with my family at Bir Terraces. Dushyant and Avanti make a great team. He is an extrovert who loves to talk. Avanti is an introverted masterchef who loves to cook. Her dishes were made with much love using ingredients grown at the farm by Dushyant. They make an outstanding team and we had so much fun. I highly recommend that you go to this place and spend a few days of tranquility and gastronomic delight.

On our way back home from Bangalore airport, our 9-year-old started reminiscing about the trip to Uttarakhand and said, “I miss the yummy food and hot chocolate, the dogs (Zoey, Mochi, Jack, Gabbar and Kalu), and Dushyant Uncle and Avanti Aunty!” Honestly, we couldn’t agree more. Uff, what a trip it’s been! Our annual family winter vacation to the hills this year took us to Bir Terraces, Virkhan—a quaint little cottage tucked away in the most serene location. From the initial planning, to the journey there, and throughout our stay, one thing stood out consistently: the passion and attention to detail with which Dushyant and Avanti do everything. They truly went the extra mile to ensure we had the most wonderful experience. Each meal was thoughtfully planned, experiences were beautifully curated, and the hikes and trails were stunning—very doable even for the semi-fit. Kamalesh and Dilip were always around, making sure our stay was comfortable, accompanying us on hikes, and making chai and hot chocolate on demand. Avanti truly has the Midas touch—it’s been nearly impossible for us to pick a favourite meal. And Dushyant, the sweetest host, is a bundle of energy with such varied interests that conversations with him, there's never a dull moment. Also, if you do visit, make sure to try their Nativ Indie products—those deserve a review of their own. All in all, if I could give this place a 10 out of 5, I absolutely would. We’re definitely going back again, and soon.

Bir terraces was an experience in itself. The stay felt like home, the staff was exceptional, Dushyant made us felt like home, they had a solution to every need that we had. Rooms were cosy and warm and the experiences we had were beyond expectation. The cherry on the cake was their wood-fire pizza and aglio olio pasta which is a must try. I will definitely come back here, loved the stay!

We had an amazing stay at Bir Terraces in Virkhan, Uttarakhand. It was a wonderful time spent with friends and family, surrounded by peace and stunning mountain views. The food was absolutely delicious and felt truly organic and homely. The kids had a great time playing with the little pups and enjoying short treks around the property, which made the experience even more special. Highly recommended for a relaxing and memorable mountain getaway.

We stayed at Bir Terraces for 5 days and the experience was absolutely amazing. Everything about this place exceeded our expectations — the location, the resort, and the overall vibe were perfect. A special mention to the host Dushyant, who was extremely warm, helpful, and made us feel completely at home throughout our stay. The hospitality was top-notch. The food deserves a big shout-out — it was simply the bestest, fresh, delicious, and homely. Every meal felt special. If you’re planning to stay in Bir and want comfort, great views, amazing food, and genuine hospitality, Bir Terraces is highly recommended. We would love to visit again!
