There are a couple of ways to get to the cottage depending on the mode of transport.

Flight : We are accessible by two airports, Pantnagar (PGH)/Bareilly (BEK) Airport.

From there, it'll be a comfortable and scenic 3.5 & 5 hour drive respectively.

Train: You can book a 6:20 am KGM Express (From Delhi) that drops you off at Kathgodam Station.

From there, it'll be a convenient ride of 2.5 hours.

Car : It's a beautiful drive of 8-8.5 hours till the property from Delhi.

We've got an experienced team that cater to your food and beverage preferences at the property.

We offer an extensive à la carte menu that focuses on serving from our farm to your plate, with the likes of Indian, Continental, Chinese, Italian, and Kumaoni (Pahadi).

It is to be noted that Non-Vegetarian food is not cooked / served at Bir Terraces with the exception of Eggs.

To honour our principles of vegetarianism, we will not entertain Non Vegetarian food brought from outside either. Kindly respect our No Non-Veg policy and we will leave no stone unturned to feed you exquisite vegetarian meals.

The property is equipped with Wi-Fi that is accessible to guests who wish to work from home. The internet has a speed ranging from 8mbps~40mbps according to speedtest. Since we're in the mountains, the speed/quality may vary during the peak usage hours of the village. (Usually around 9pm)

Yes, the homestay is pet-friendly. We welcome pets and provide facilities to make sure that they are comfortable during their stay.

Additionally, we have 5 Furry Dogs and an Adorable Cat on the property that we treat like family.

Additionally, food for your dog can be availed at Rs.500/day.

Guests may choose to explore the outdoors with 5+ nature trails and hikes around the cottage ranging from hill tops to private spring water streams.

Perhaps a nearby waterfall might catch your fancy or maybe explore our village trail to experience local living.

For the spiritually inclined, the place is blessed with temples and spiritual destinations like Kainchi Dham of Baba Neem Karoli, Vivekananda Ashram, Kasar Devi Temple, Mukteshwar, Jageshwar, and the famous Sun Temple at Katarmal, in the near vicinity.

Besides the charming hill stations of Nainital, Almora, and Mukteshwar are just a short drive away.

Yes, we do have arrangements for taxi service providers that we recommend for shuttling our guests from the the airports & Railway station.

You can talk to our team regarding your requirements and a quote will be provided for the same.

The cottage can accommodate up to 8 guests comfortably, with kids additionally we can go up to 10 guests.

We have three bedrooms ensuite and an attic space, with comfortable beds and beautiful views of the surrounding nature. Additional beds can be added on request.

Accommodation for staff members such as a nanny, driver, or caretaker can be arranged at an additional charge of 1200/day inclusive of all the meals.

The entire cottage is age friendly. The property is completely accessible by car all the way till our parking lot. The distance between our parking area and the entrance of the cottage is hardly 25 meters.

We have two bedrooms (Ananda & Vayu) along with the kitchen and lobby that are located on the ground level, making it easy to access, especially for the elderly.

Check-in is at 2:00 pm and check-out is at 11:00 am.

If you need to arrive earlier or depart later, please let us know and we will try our best to accommodate your request based on our reservation system.

Bir Terraces is located away from the hustle & bustle of crowded towns & rushed highways.

The nearest markets/town from the property are Almora, Mukteshwar & Nainital. They are within a 1, 1.5 & 2 hour(s) drive from the property respectively.

We've got multiple cab service providers associated with the cottage that can be hired as per the requirements of guests.

Safety and sanitization of the cab is assured.

According to the number of guests and based on comfort, an Innova, Ertiga or the trusty Bolero can be availed.

Power cuts occur infrequently depending on the season , but we do have a generator back up at the premises to take care of the same.
